Sometimes the leaves and florals seem to float on top of water in my paintings. I think this one is special, almost ethereal. I am not normally a blue palette person, but with red violet rocks and the rich terracotta, the pinky red of copper and hints of gold, this is one of my all-time favourite paintings I’ve created.
