I adore how the colours of nature show up in this piece. The smoky background is a beautiful gift from the mineral paper, and the powdered paints make me think of dragonflies coming to land and sunning themselves at the end of day, while lying in wait for a juicy bedtime snack!
Because many of my current art pieces are small, I love it when paintings are grouped together. This one would go so well with Late Summer Twilight, or other earth palette paintings.
