Lucy in the Sky with Turquoise

$200.00

Waterflow paintings often make me see river deltas when I look at them more closely. The acrylic fights against the watercolour and loses, because it breaks up into chunks and I often see pictures of overhead photos of river deltas that look somewhat similar.

In this one, my imagination has the sun setting against it with burning gold and fiery coppervand gold glinting off this tidal river. The hits of turquoise, green, and red violet make me feel they could be the result of minerals in the earth.

  • Size: 7 x 5 inches or 17.8 x 12.7 cm

  • Substrate: Mineral Paper, 100lb (80% Calcium Carbonate / 20% Resin)
