In colour theory, almost fluorescent pink and acid green should make muddy beige, but I was very pleasantly surprised that my process made brown in the creases it formed under its wrapping. It accentuates those areas and makes flower and leaf shapes.
There’s so much to see it in this painting if you look closely. The gold adds another level of depth and intensity.
