You may have noticed I love the violets… especially Red Violet. This is a waterflow painting, using liquid acrylics and liquid watercolours. I usually don't embellish them too much, but I’m glad I kept going with this one. After the paint was more or less settled, I used a twig to make the centre-point, which was a puddle of extra colour. Experimental play can be very rewarding!
